The Blackwater Rhode Rock is a sex-linked Hybrid bred from the Rhode Island Red and a Barred Plymouth Rock. They are not easily stressed and are generally very confident, friendly birds.They love being outside and will appreciate plenty of space. They are capable of laying approximately 300 brown eggs per year.
Blackwater Magpie is a crossed with a Barred Plymouth Rock abd a White Rhode cross. this is a lovely looking bird with black plumage with white neck markings. Ideal for the back garden and will lay approximately 240 lovely dark brown eggs per year. Will start to lay at approx 22 weeks

The Blackwater Speckledy - The Speckledy is a modern hybrid and comes from a Rhode Island Red crossed with a Maran. The feathering closely resembles that of a Maran. The Speckledy is a docile, easily handled bird. They are excellent and reliable layers of dark chestnut brown eggs which are usually speckled. The eggshells are particularly strong and the yolks deep yellow. They are well suited to free ranging and enjoy foraging. Their feathers are silky soft and abundant.
The Blackwater Sussex Ranger is a very attractive medium sized, traditional style white bird with black hackle feathers around the neck and on the tail. They are capable of laying approximately 260 light to mid brown eggs per year. The Sussex chicken is an alert but docile breed that can adapt to any surrounding easily. They are good foragers. Whilst they are quite happy to be free range, they will also be fine if kept in a confined space
